My favorite spells to do are spell jars. I like that you can use any size jar. The small jars are perfect to travel with. You can put them in your purse, in your car, on your alter, make a necklace out of it, and so on. Today, I’m going to share a luck spell jar with you all. This spell has been successful for me.
Always remember, intent is everything. Your thoughts and intentions will help and give power to your ingredients. Make sure you have a clear mind when doing spells. If you need help to focus on your intentions, write them down on a piece of paper.
What you’ll need:
1. A glass jar, a small spoon, and fire proof plate.2. Herbs:
- Bay leaf
- Basil
- Cinnamon
- Nutmeg
- Optional - Salt
3. Jasmine oil for clarity
4. Frankincense incense and a small citrine crystal
5. Matches and a green candle for abundance, success, prosperity, and luck
6. Optional - A piece of paper and pen or pencil
Steps
1. Light your frankincense incense and cleanse your jar, crystal, candle, an herbs with the smoke.
2. Place your jar in the middle of your plate and create a circle or salt around it.
3. Add in your herbs (in order) and while doing so, thank them for their use:
- Bay leaf for protection & purification
- Basil for prosperity & success
- Cinnamon for positivity & action
- Nutmeg to bring in luck
4. Hold your citrine crystal in your left hand to charge it with your intentions. You can focus on it to bring in your manifestation or luck & abundance. Once you fill that it’s fully charged, place it into the jar.
5. Take you candle and jasmine oil. You will want to anoint your candle with the oil. When anointing it, you would want to pull the oil towards you to bring luck to you.
6. Once done, light your candle and focus on luck and positivity coming to you. If you need help focusing, you can write on a piece of paper where you want to bring luck and positivity into your life.
7. Once you feel you’ve added as much intention into your spell, seal your jar with the wax from the candle. Optional - You can folder your piece of paper and place it into your jar before sealing it.
*Watch the flame to see how the spell is doing. If your flame is high, then your spell is doing well.*
