Last month, I went over a few different types of witches. In that blog post, I talk about the most common witches and their meanings. Keep in mind that there are many more types of witches. As time goes on, you will learn more about modern day type of witches.
But today, I want to go over a few of the older types. Some of these types will involve their religion and transitions in their practice. I’m not going to list all of them because a lot of those practices are closed. Meaning you have to go through a lot in order to be accepted into that practice.
Christian Witch
Someone who follows Christian beliefs and traditions. They believe in the Holy Trinity and only worship one God. They include prayer in just about everything they do and they use the Bible as their Grimoire.
Pagan Witch
Someone who follows paganism beliefs and traditions. Paganism is a religion that also includes neo-paganism and reconstructive paganism. Not all pagans practice witchcraft and not all pagans are witches.Wiccan Witch
Someone who practices the modern pagan religion of Wicca. They would follow the Wiccan religion and traditions. They have specific deities, morals, and practices. They’re guided by the Wiccan Rede which says, whatever magic you perform on others will come came to you three-fold.DIANIC WITCH
Someone who celebrates sabbats and ideas as Wiccans but only focus on the feminist side of Wicca. They exclusively worship the Goddess.HELLENIC WITCH
Someone who follows ancient Greek mythology, folklore, and rituals. They would honor Greek pantheon Gods and Goddesses.CELTIC WITCH
Someone who follows ancient Celtic mythology, folklore, and rituals. They would honor Celtic pantheon Gods and Goddesses.NORSE WITCH
Someone who follows ancient Norse mythology, folklore, and rituals. They would honor Norse pantheon Gods and Goddesses.DRUIDS WITCH
Someone who follows ancient Druids traditions and customs. They also follow the Celtic Nordic religion.Scandinavian Witch
Someone who follows Danish Folklore and some Norse transitions.
